Guaranteed RAM
Identify the difference between standard and guaranteed RAM in the hosting community.
RAM is an abbreviation for Random Access Memory. This is a sort of computer memory, that, unlike other storage devices like harddrives or DVDs, allows the info to be accessed directly without reading the previous content located inside it. Each time an app is launched, it is stored in the RAM, as it may be accessed considerably quicker than if it was read from another media. With regard to the website hosting service itself, more RAM means that more web applications can run concurrently on a particular hosting server, particularly when they're resource-demanding and are accessed by a large number of people at the same time. Different from a shared web hosting package in which the system resources of a given account could be flexible and sometimes depend on what other end users consume too, a VPS features a guaranteed amount of RAM that can be used always. That memory is assigned to one server only and won't be used by other customers even if it is not used.

Guaranteed RAM in VPS Servers
The physical memory that you will get with each
VPS server we provide is guaranteed and shall be readily available all of the time even if you don't use it for a long period of time. Each VPS account provides set system resources and runs in an isolated container apart from the rest of the accounts on the physical hosting server, so even in case some account starts running out of memory, we shall never allot some of your memory to that account. Also we never distribute the whole physical memory on the hardware node among the virtual accounts created on it, as a way to make sure that it will never run out of memory. This way, there shall always be free RAM if you decide to upgrade your package and we ensure the flawless performance of the physical server.

Guaranteed RAM in Dedicated Servers
If you get one of our
dedicated server packages, you shall get a top-notch web server with enough RAM to run even a number of resource-demanding web apps with no effect on the overall functionality of any one of them. As we test every hardware component before we use it when we build a server, we'll make certain that the RAM sticks are not faulty and that the hosting server runs flawlessly. The physical memory that you'll get will be available at all times, so even in a situation in which you employ just a part of it for any period of time, we won't modify the configuration. You shall be able to check the hardware, including the amount of RAM which you have, in the billing Control Panel.
