In the event that an Internet site gets compromised, its attacker will not be able to see or access any other content outside the website folder, so all the rest of the websites part of the account will be protected and will be intact. Using the JailHost option does not replace carrying out frequent script updates or using proper passwords, but it will minimize any damage to your sites significantly, so you'll need to fix only one site not all of them.
JailHost in Cloud Hosting
If you host your websites within a cloud hosting account from our firm, you will be able to protect them using the JailHost feature with just a few clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. This option is provided with all plans and can be enabled for each folder as the domains and subdomains in Hepsia have different folders, so files for different websites do not get mixed up like it often happens with other Control Panels. We have not activated JailHost by default because you might use scripts which need access to folders outside the primary site folder and this option could interfere with their proper functioning, but shielding all the other folders is really easy. If a secured website gets hacked for whatever reason, we'll be able to recover it promptly since we'll have multiple daily backup copies of your entire account and you will even be able to browse the available backups through Hepsia.
